Guidelines for preparation and display of Poster in 15th IUPAC International Congress of Crop Protection Chemistry on “Futuristic Approaches towards Seed to Market Strategies”

The poster should provide a visual summary of the research. Dedicated time will be allocated in the conference program for poster viewing by delegates during specific session.

Poster format guidelines

  • Posters should be a single sheet of A0 size paper [84 x 119 cm (or 33 x 47 inches)] which can be rolled for carrying and subsequent pasting on the poster display panel in portrait format. The poster display platform area will be approximately one square meter.
  • Times new roman font with different font sizes should be used without mixing different fonts. To highlight text use underlined text, bold face or italics or any two combinations to emphasize words and phrases.
  • In composing the poster, use of long sentences should be avoided and bullet summaries can be utilized in some or most cases.
  • The language of the poster should be in English and content should be well labelled and headlines can be legible from a distance up to 2 meters. Proof reading of the poster should be done before final printing to avoid grammatical errors. There is no printing facility of posters during the Congress.

Abstract Number:
Please mention abstract number at top, right corner of the poster in Font Size 36.

Poster Title:
The title of a poster should use the same words as written in your accepted submission. The Title should be very prominent and legible from a distance of up to 2 meters. It should be in at least Font Size 72 Times new roman, Center aligned. Use title case and avoid upper case letters.
Conference logo (download from IUPAC 15TH ICCPC 2023 NEW DELHI (iupac2023.in) should be on the left side of the title and institute logo (if any) should be on the right side of the title.

Affiliations Font Size 20
E-mail address Font Size 20

Poster should be made in two columns for following sections.
Introduction: Title should be left aligned in Font Size 28; body text in Font Size 24.

Materials and Methods: Title should be left aligned in Font Size 28; body text in Font Size 24. One to two paragraphs, align left or justify. Include citations where appropriate. Body text should be aligned left or justify.

Results and Discussion: Title should be left aligned in Font Size 28; body text in 24 Font Size. Figures and/or Tables are included here.

Table and Figure titles should be Font Size 24 with Table and Figure titles usually at the top of the table and figure. The contents of the tables and figures should be Font Size 20 or 24. Figures/ graphs are more desirable than Tables.

Conclusion: Title should be left aligned in Font Size 28; body text in 24 Font Size.

References: Title should be left aligned in Font Size 24, body text in 20 Font Size.

Acknowledgment (optional): Title should be left aligned in Font Size 24, body text in Font Size 20.

Mounting and dismounting of posters
Designated poster boards with poster ID (which will be e-mailed to delegates) will be available at the venue of congress, in which the delegate will stick the poster during the session and after the session is over the poster will be dismounted.
